Exploring Pemberton camping in National Parks. Wine tasting and Grape Harvest on Pemberley Farm. 4 Days

February 21, 2026 - February 24, 2026

Car $590

Join Dave on a 4 day Camping Adventure to Pemberton

This camping trip is for the independent camper who wants to explore the pristine Warren and D’Entrecasteaux National Parks. And view the grape harvest on picturesque PEMBERLEY FARM, a productive, 500-acre farm/winery on the outskirts of Pemberton.

Monica and David our friendly hosts of Pemberley Farm invite us to taste their award winning wines, marron, and taste local, fresh produce. Later lets trek around the farm.

We will have fellow campers joining us for the first time, meeting experienced, independent campers who love using their off-road camper trailers and caravans. We are a happy bunch of campers willing to share our experiences and stories, especially during “Happy Hour” at sunset. Discuss the pros and cons of your camper, caravan, 4WD and /or camping gear. On occasions we will be joined by our Pemberley Farm host Dave Rado and well-known local identity Mark Hudson (a dear friend) to explain in detail the flora and fauna found in the area.

Please be aware that the roads near Pemberton are unsealed and with some narrow tracks it is important that you check that your vehicle insurance covers you for travelling off-road, on non- gazetted roads.

It is essential to bring a walkie-talkie or CB for directions whilst driving, a shower tent, esky or fridge and portable toilet. Take a rain jacket and some warm clothing/bedding as weather conditions are milder in the South West and can change unexpectedly.

On payment of your deposit to join us on this tour you will receive a GOOGLE DRIVE LINK with all the information needed to help you get organized.

It is essential to read the “Camping Information and Checklist” or speak to Dave about your camping equipment needs for this camping trip.

NOTE:

These tours are very flexible and relaxed so if wanting to stay back at the campsite to chill please do.

If wanting to temporarily leave the tour group please let Dave know where you are going. Thank you.

Our Itinerary can change with little notice especially in the months of February/March with the Grape Harvest in full swing on many farms/vineyards including Pemberley Farm.

Fellow campers, you DO NOT need to return to Perth with the Convoy/Group if you have other plans. However, please let Dave know of your intentions. Thank you.

Our Itinerary

DAY 1

We will be departing from Dave’s house Friday 8.30am (Dave will txt you his address and Tour Route with a Google Maps link).

  • 1st    Travel time 44mins. Very Quick toilet stop! BP Truck Stop Baldivis Forrest Hwy, with two more cars joining the convoy
  • 2nd Travel time 1hr 43mins. DONNYBROOK Early Lunch and toilet stop.
  • 3rd Travel time 1hr 40mins. Arrive Warren NP campsite approx. 1.30pm to set up camp.

Our fellow campers Hiring a Eureka camper for the first time are encouraged to join Dave for a Demo first before setting up their own camper. This will help you to prevent unwanted damages and confusion. And it is fun!

Feel free to become a passenger in a friends car (if there is room?) as we don’t always need to take ALL cars in the convoy for our short trips through Warren NP.

Trek along the banks of the Warren River or go for a swim. Checkout the view from Warren Lookout of this spectacular forest. There are drop toilets available in these National Parks.

Its COMMUNAL PIZZA NIGHT with everyone chipping in with toppings, pizza bases, cooking, etc. A great way to get to know your fellow campers in the group. Lets set up a few tables and at least 2x Webber Q BBQ’s to get organized, before sunset around 5pm.

DAY 2

Get  your National Park pass ready, maps, lunch/drinks etc (as recommended by Dave via his Google Info link), for an Adventure Packed day!

8.30am we’re off to the Karri Forest Explorer Drive, Beedelup Falls and DÉntrecasteaux National Park.

Mark Hudson takes us for a little walk to understand the Flora and Fauna in D’Entrecasteaux NP.

Drop your tyre pressures and get ready for a 4WD experience UP Yeagarup Sand Dunes.

If time permits lets drop into Southern Forest Chocolate Company on the way to Pemberley Farm.

Returning to Pemberley Farm for a memorable Wine tasting experience. 2.30pm Sharp! As we don’t want to Keep our Host Dave Rado waiting!

Don’t have a BIG lunch as we will be tasting local farm produce and award winning wines! Take some wine back to Perth with you or better still, back to camp to share.

Lets gather for happy hour back at our campsite before sunset for nibbles.

DAY 3

9am Start off the day with a morning coffee at Wild At Heart Café in Pemberton OR Pemberton General store.

10am. Meet at the main carpark to Pemberton District High School for a majestic 1 kilometre walk to the famous Gloucester Tree, a lookout tree overlooking the Karri forest which for the adventurous amongst us is a challenging climb of 53m.

Walk back to our cars then pay a visit to the old Pemberton Pool, nestled amongst the tall Karri Trees.

Lunch at BIG BROOK DAM.

After which  join Dave for a swim or pleasant walk around the Dam.

Back to camp via Pemberton Township, picking up those last minute items from the local IGA store. Need to top up your fuel tank for the drive back home tomorrow? It will help to save time.

Day 4

Depart 9.30am from Pemberley Farm for Manjimup

For those people with portable toilets you will be able to empty them at the designated DUMP POINT located at the Manjimup Visitors Centre on the way back to Perth.

Lock up your campers/caravans for a short walk to sit down for a Coffee at Southern Roasting Co, Manjimup
