This Eco Adventure Tour has been designed for people who are TIME POOR and can only get away for 3 days. Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Our Campsite

• 1st Day   

                         Call into Wedge Island. Toilet stop and Lunch at Hangover Bay

                         4WD to our Campsite at a Secret, remote, bay, north of Jurien Bay township 

• 2nd Day

                         Can simply relax, 4WD, swim, fish, adjacent to our campsite.

                         Can explore Lesueur and Stock Yard Gulley Cave National Parks.

We will be leaving Perth 8.00am on the Friday returning approx. 4 pm on the Sunday.

Things to consider

Make sure your camper batteries are fully charged and fridge is working at least a day or two prior to departure in case there is a problem.
A CB radio is a great idea to take along so you can communicate to other people in the convoy and receive directions.

As we are going to be visiting and staying at beach campsites, taking personal protection against sand flies is a good idea. I can recommend “Nature’s Botanical” from your local chemist shop. Sand flies maybe non existent but it is a good idea for those people who are magnets to be prepared!

Remember we are independent campers and need to take everything with us. Hence, please think about a portable toilet and pop up shelter especially for the ladies. Just remember that the Dept of Parks and Wildlife require that you don’t leave a footprint at their campsites and take everything out with you. There are dump stations at small towns along the way for disposal of our toilet waste. Take comfortable walking shoes as we may do an easy walk up to the top of Mt Lesueur approx 1 hr return trip and a torch for Stockyard Gully Cave. I have a lot of equipment available and advice for this trip when the need arises. I will have a communal cooktop available for all, large frypan, grill, and kettle. For the ladies I am taking my portable instantaneous gas HWS that people are welcome to use for a hot shower.

Please note: To ensure the tour proceeds as planned, we require at least 6 car bookings to be made at least 60 days before the scheduled departure date. Therefore, we highly recommend making your bookings as soon as possible if you’re interested!

Do you want to be a Passenger in Dave’s New 4WD 200 series Landcruiser? What it means to be a passenger in Dave’s 200 series Landcruiser whilst on Tour:    Provide comfortable seating with easy views of the surrounding landscape whilst on route. Your Tour leader is with you most of the time to offer help and provide answer to questions whilst on route. Oh! And good humour! Help you with setting up your quick/easy touring tent/mattress when making camp and packing away when departing. See picture below. Cold drinking water and medical kit readily available. Make all camping equipment readily available to you on arrival at campsite -  - Popup toilet/shower tent  - Mobile Kitchen, Cooker, fridge, Esky, lighting, water, utensils. Passenger responsible for their own bedding, food, and cooking. However, communal cooking on a few occassions is the way to GO! Passenger’s luggage size not to exceed “the same size as carry on luggage to a airplane” and your food a similar size. To be dropped off to Dave well before the day of departure.
